The Local Area
Acton is a lovely bustling suburb of London.
There are great parks -Acton Park, directly opposite the aparatment, has tennis courts and a great children’s play area. Gunnersbury park is also fabulous.
Transport links are all excellent. The overground from Acton Central (just 1 minute from the apartment) links up with the District, Jubilee and Bakerloo underground stations. Trains from Acton Central go from Richmond to Stratford through North London. Acton Main Line station trains go from Heathrow to Paddington and will now also have the addition of the new Elizabeth line.
Also there are three central line tube stations in the area (East, West and North Acton), and Acton Town has the piccadilly line station for direct trains to Heathrow airport.
Churchfield Road has many cafes and restaurants. Indian, Greek, Japanese etc. there is a new Italian café and deli. There is also a new Italian restaurant on Acton High street which has great reviews.
